Medicare Rebates
How to access the Medicare Better Access Scheme
- Visit your GP and request a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).
- Your GP will provide a referral to Luma Therapeutic Services.
- Your MHCP entitles you to up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year.
- Rebates range from $82.30 to $93.95 per session, applied at the time of payment or claimed following your appointment.
Please note: rebate amounts are reviewed annually, please confirm with your GP or contact us directly.
Private Health Insurance
Some private health funds provide cover for sessions with an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. Eligibility and rebate amounts vary between funds and policies and we recommend contacting your health fund directly to confirm your eligibility.
